When is the best time to visit Africa ?
North Africa has pleasantly warm temperatures during spring or autumn. The summer months get really hot while it’s cool and even stormy during the winter. For South Africa the climate it’s the other way around.
Traveling in Africa
Africa is a massive continent so it offers almost all kinds of climates and landscapes.
The Sahara desert in der Northern Part with f.e. Morocco or Egypt is ideal for exploration trips to discover the rich culture & history of these countries.
The middle of the country is covered with tropical rainforest and is a great destination for wildlife observations: Rwanda is home of the Gorillas and countless bird species can be seen in the lush jungle.
If you wanna see the Big Five in the wild during a safari tour you will have the best chance to see all of them in Namibia, Botswana, Tansania, Kenya or South Africa.
But let’s not forget about the heavenly islands in the Indian Ocean at Africas East Coast which are perfect for relaxation or the mountain area in f.e. Uganda for hiking enthusiasts – Africa is a very diverse continent.
Which Budget should I plan for Africa ?
Africa offers a wide range of destinations and also of estimate costs:
Morocco for example is ideal for budget friendly travels – you can see a lot and enjoy good food with just 25-35 Euro per day.
Safari tours and stays in picturesque Lodges are more of the higher priced trips which also counts for a trip to the Seychelles or Mauritius.
Africa has the right trip for any kind of budget!
