In reply to Chelsea Stanford. We spent the first two or three nights near Budva and only drove to Kotor by car for a day trip to explore the old town & hop on a boat to Perast. It's only a 38 mins drive from Budva to Kotor so Budva is a great base for everything you're planning to explore near the coast. :)

In reply to Chelsea Stanford. Hey Chelsea, thank you for your kind words. We traveled to Montenegro together with a guide which drove us to all the locations. But normally we always have our own rental car which we usually hire via Sixt :)

Hey 🙂 We shot most of these photos with a 14-30 mm lens to capture a lot of the scenery – some other shots are taken with a 24-70 mm lens. We like to keep our gear as light and easy as possible- especially on hikes.

I also want to visit each part you have suggested in your itinerary and will allow ourselves 7 nights – Budva, Sveti Stefan (maybe), Kotor, Perast, Porto Montenegro, Centinje, Biograd and Durmitor National Parks and Tara Canyon (all of which are beside each other it seems) – how many nights each would you spend Budva and Kotor? and I’m guessing everywhere else would be day trips? I’d love your suggestions 🙂 x

I highly recommend to reach out to the hotels and activity providers directly – they are usually small family run businesses:

I want to bring a group of 36/40 American University students (age20) plus two teachers to the Cook Islands the first week in October for 4 nights. They are on a three month study abroad program which includes several countries.
I am the tour director for this program and live in Australia.

Your blog is adorable. Pictures and descriptions of travel subjects with comparable quality are hard to find. Maybe you could travel to Switzerland, too and add a documentary about beautiful regions such as the bernese highlands, or Berner Oberland, with its Jungfraujoch train and the lake thun.

Thank your for the kind words 🙂 Unfortunately I don’t know the exact coordinates but each view is just a few minutes away from the entrance I mentioned. It its easy to find them. Additionally each view at the spot is just spectacular! I’m sure you will be speechless – just like me 🙂
